Who is Wallara?

Wallara Australia Ltd is a leading not for profit disability support organisation established over 50 years ago in Dandenong. Wallara Logistics is a division of Wallara Australia Ltd and operates as a social enterprise providing supportive employment and workplace training for adults with an intellectual, physical or developmental disability. Wallara Logistics supports over 140 adults with disability, working for many large Australian and international organisations across packing, assembly and 3PL services.

What services does Wallara Logistics provide?

Wallara Logistics provides a wide range of operations within 3PL, packing, kitting and assembly and operates a Land Management Services division across all areas of Melbourne. There is no one size fits all approach in anything that we do, we pride ourselves on tailored solutions for each of our partners.

How does Wallara Logistics deliver on quality?

We have detailed and thorough quality assurance systems and processes that are supported by our on the job coaches of our supported employees and employee workplace training. We live for continuous improvement and conduct regular quality audits to ensure we are operating at the most efficient and effective level for our processes and services. The length of our partnerships is evidence of the quality that we deliver.

We work to a DIFOT of +95% and pick accuracy of 98.5%.

How does Wallara Logistics keep me updated?

Each partner is assigned an experienced Account Manager who will work with you from project concept to project completion. We set you up with an online client portal, allowing you the ability to view your account. We believe successful partnerships are built on clear and transparent communication and will tailor our communication to your preferences.

What happens if my job requirement changes?

At Wallara Logistics we understand that priorities can change, which is why we adopt an open minded, professional and flexible approach to our partnerships. We work with you to manage changing requirements or demands so that the job is delivered on time and as agreed. We fully respect the need to keep retail and distribution shelves fully stocked and go above and beyond to provide solutions to enable this.

Where are you located?

Wallara Logistics is located at 150-160 Bridge Rd, Keysborough, in the south eastern industrial corridor, less than 1 kilometre from Eastlink and just under 40 minutes from Melbourne’s CBD and ports.

What freight solutions are available?

Multiple freight options are available and we work with you to find the most cost-effective solution for your job:

    • We offer our own transport for local delivery
    • We can source a freight broker to meet your requirements
    • If preferred you are able to manage your own freight needs

Profits derived from Wallara Logistics are reinvested back into the organisation to support our mission of driving social change in our community to empower people with different abilities. It enables us to continuously develop and support lifetime learning opportunities and pathways for our 340+ clients in a range of employment choices, capacity building, accommodation and independent living skills.
